Corporate overview — 2026
Sovereign strength.
Decisive intelligence.
Sthenos (σθένος) - Greek for strength: the power to endure and prevail.
Mission-critical software for defence organizations, built to accelerate and improve human-centered decision-making - on sovereign infrastructure, inside EU borders, from sensor to commander.
01 — Who we are
Built for national defense through sovereign intelligence.
Sthenos AI develops mission-critical software for defence organizations, operating across multiple technology domains from Athens, Greece. Founded in 2025 within EFA Group, the company is fully EU-based - workforce, data, training and operations all remain within EU borders.
The focus is a single discipline applied end to end: turning sensor data into decision-grade intelligence that commanders can act on, without that data ever leaving sovereign infrastructure.
02 — Our position
Four
structural
advantages.
Positioning in defence AI is not claimed, it is built from infrastructure, certification, group proximity and people. These four advantages compound.
Sovereign infrastructure
Advantage 01
First Greek company with its own professional AI compute — NVIDIA H200 on HPE with Red Hat OpenShift AI. Classified workloads never leave national soil: training, fine-tuning and inference all run on-premise.
Trusted vendor
Advantage 02
Structured certification roadmap across ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 42001 (AI Management). EKBA national security clearance in progress, followed by EMEAT certification.
Group proximity
Advantage 03
Inside EFA Group’s 13 companies and adjacent to THEON Sensors — sensor-to-decision integration without integration risk, from optics to C2 software.
Experienced European talent
Advantage 04
Senior-led engineering bench with 10+ years average experience across ML, computer vision, secure infrastructure and C2 systems — all based in the EU.
03 — Compliance & trust
Certified by design, not retrofitted.
Defence procurement runs on evidence. The certification roadmap covers quality, environmental, information-security and AI-management standards, with national security clearance in progress — so every product ships into an auditable, accountable operating envelope.

ISO 9001
Standard
Quality management disciplined, repeatable engineering and delivery processes.

ISO 14001
Standard
Environmental management across operations and infrastructure.

ISO 27001
Standard
Information security management for classified and sensitive workloads.

ISO 42001
Standard
AI management systems governance for how models are built, deployed and monitored.

05 — The ecosystem
Inside a group of 15 specialist defense companies.
EFA Group operates across four technology clusters in 60+ countries. Sthenos AI sits in the Software, AI & C2 cluster — meaning sensors, unmanned platforms, radios and cyber capability are group-internal partners, not external vendors.
Unmanned & Autonomous Systems
Cluster 01
UAS & autonomy — airframes and autonomy stacks for unmanned operations.

06 — Capabilities & programs
The end-to-end discipline framework.
Four disciplines, one pipeline: data becomes models, models become autonomous behaviour, perception feeds decisions, and everything deploys on sovereign, classified-ready infrastructure.
Machine Learning & AI
Discipline 01
Transforming data into intelligent, scalable decision systems.
Autonomous Systems
Discipline 02
Self-operating systems enabling adaptive, real-time autonomous decision-making.
Vision AI
Discipline 03
Perception systems shaping tomorrow’s digital and industrial ecosystems.
AI Infrastructure Deployment
Discipline 04

08 — Products
C2 Assistant.
Problem — time spent, low satisfaction
Operators spend 30+ minutes per day searching for the right information on how to use MIMS C2.
Solution — real-time assistant
An AI assistant that answers within seconds with the right information and accurate references to the manual.
Manual querying
Natural-language Q&A against the full MIMS C2 operator manual. Semantic search returns precise answers with section references.
Source references
Every answer includes exact page, section and paragraph citations. No ambiguity, full traceability.
Real-time speed
Responses delivered in under 5 seconds — designed for operational tempo.
On-premise deployment
Runs fully air-gapped within your secure perimeter. No data leaves the operational environment.
How it works
01
Operator types a question
Free-form natural-language query about any MIMS C2 function, alert or procedure.
02
Semantic search executes
The query is embedded and matched against the indexed manual using vector similarity.
03
Answer + source returned
A precise answer is displayed with exact section, page and paragraph reference.
Sample queries
Is the history of all alerts accessible? What does the orange color mean on an operational component? How can I disassociate a unit manually? How to switch the Event Log to manual mode?

09 — Products
Mission Planner.
Problem — complex missions, manual coordination
Drone operators spend significant time manually programming each flight step — increasing errors and slowing mission readiness.
Solution — natural-language mission builder
Operators define takeoff altitude, waypoints, altitude changes and landing in a structured plugin, then execute with confidence.
Waypoint control
Precise GPS coordinates for each mission leg — full 3D path control per waypoint.
Altitude management
Define takeoff and landing heights; gain or lose altitude at any point with meter-level precision.
RTB & auto-land
One-command return-to-base with automatic precision landing at the home point.
Plugin integration
Runs as a native Sthenos AI plugin — open, plan and execute from within your existing C2 interface.
How it works
01
Open the plugin
Launch Mission Planner from within the Sthenos AI C2 interface.
02
Define mission steps
Add takeoff altitude, waypoints and altitude changes in sequence.
03
Review & validate
The plugin checks for conflicts, range limits and clearances.
04
Execute & monitor
Send to drone and track live progress step-by-step on the map.
Sample operations
