“This collaboration represents the first tangible step towards Quantum.”
Quantum technologies are moving from research labs toward applications with real operational and industrial value. Sthenos AI is investing now in the expertise and partnerships that will shape what comes next.
As part of this, Sthenos AI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Europraxis and Commitment 2 Success, formalising a collaboration focused on quantum technologies, advanced simulation and high-performance computing (HPC).
The agreement was signed by Markos Hatziminas, CEO of Sthenos AI, and Aggelos Tsikas, Owner of Europraxis. Dr. Fotios Gkritsis, Quantum Engineer at Sthenos AI, leads the technical direction of the collaboration.
QSim
At the centre of the work is QSim, the software platform Sthenos AI is developing to model and simulate noise in quantum computing systems. Noise is one of the most significant challenges standing between current quantum research and practical, real-world implementation.
The collaboration combines expertise in quantum research, GPU-accelerated computing and applied innovation. Its goal is to contribute to Europe’s emerging quantum ecosystem while developing secure, sovereign simulation capabilities that can support future applications in defence, research and industry.
EFA Group
For EFA Group, the initiative is a further step in its strategy of building integrated, sovereign technology capabilities in the domains expected to define the next decade, from artificial intelligence and autonomous systems to quantum computing and advanced simulation.
